Estrada do Sol performs a curated selection of Brazilian music, specializing in música popular brasileira, or MPB, which revisits typical Brazilian styles such as samba, bossanova, baião and other Brazilian regional music, combining them with foreign influences, such as jazz and rock.

The group is comprised of Andrea Cefalo and her husband Brian Cashwell, and a roster of other Brazilian artists and local jazz musicians.
