Vocalist/harmonicist David Burk fronts the Heavy Juice Blues Band, the David Burk Band, and the jazz trio David & the HeartStrings. He won the 2023 Cincy Blues Challenge. He has been Featured Artist at the Liberty Exhibition Hall Jazz Jam. Guitarist Bill Littleford fronts his own trio, and plays with Belle of the Blues Lisa Biales, and with the Tinfoil Hat Cowboys. David and Bill are both music educators. They recently performed their mix of bluesy jazz and jazzy blues–from the likes of Donald Byrd, Billie Holliday, Horace Silver, T Bone Walker and Bobby “Blue” Bland, plus original compositions–on Fountain Square as part of the Fountain Blues series.
