Jordan earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Studies from the University of MN-Duluth and a Masters of Music in Jazz Studies from UC's College-Conservatory of Music. During her studies, Jordan was fortunate to have numerous opportunities to travel, perform with top-tier professionals, and even take occasional lessons from pianists Billy Taylor, Kenny Werner, and George Cables.

Cincinnati-based jazz pianist Steve Schmidt is well-known regionally and nationally for his work with The Blue Wisp Big Band and for his tenure as house pianist at The Blue Wisp Jazz Club. Mandy Gaines is a musician of unparalleled versatility. The American singer’s roots might be firmly in jazz, that she’s been performing for three decades, but Gaines has also whipped up some wholesome funk, Gospel and R&B over the years that can best be heard on her 2014 record Faith Journey.
