Allgeyer comes from a long line of professional musicians, and for over twenty years has performed extensively as both a sideman and leader of his own ensembles.

Celebrating the classic mambo, Latin jazz and cha-cha of Tito Puente, Cal Tjader, Poncho Sanchez and Mark Levine, Mambo Combo has its compass set toward Cuba.

Josiah has spent many years performing, recording, and teaching music. Since 2002 he has toured extensively with WHY? among other bands such as Tall Tall Trees and Kishi Bashi.
